Description
Rectifier transformers serve non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical processing and other electrochemical applications. The brochure describes designs focused on low noise, low losses, low temperature rise, short-circuit withstand capability and effective sealing.
Applications and configuration
- Industrial DC supply systems for non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical electrolysis.
- Grid-side rated capacity, voltage class, voltage regulation, cooling and reactor configuration are specified for each project.
Model designation guide
- Z: general-purpose rectifier transformer; ZH: electrochemical rectifier transformer.
- D: single-phase; S: three-phase.
- F: oil-immersed, air-blast cooling; FP: forced-oil, air cooling; SP: forced-oil, water cooling.
- Z: on-load voltage regulation; T: voltage regulation using a regulating transformer. The meaning of a letter depends on its position in the designation.
- K: balancing reactor; B: saturable reactor.
- The final fields identify grid-side rated capacity and voltage class.
Special design: non-in-phase inverse-parallel rectifier transformer with in-line terminals
- The brochure describes valve-side terminals arranged in three rows and four columns to optimize AC and DC busbar length and layout.
- The design aims to reduce busbar resistance and eddy-current losses, reduce DC busbar material and simplify rectifier-unit maintenance.
- This is a specific structural option. Compatibility with the rectifier connection arrangement must be confirmed; it is not a standard feature of every rectifier transformer.
