Description
The CPC-05 is a vertical, water-cooled rectifier for DC power supply in aluminium electrolysis, designed for indoor installation.
Symmetrical component mounting supports uniform clamping pressure and current sharing between parallel branches. The aluminium-alloy frame is designed to limit the effects of the strong magnetic fields associated with high-current operation on the enclosure.
Positive and negative sections are separated to provide space for inspection and maintenance. Separate water circuits for AC components and the positive and negative DC sections help reduce electrochemical corrosion.
Six-channel aluminium-alloy water-cooled busbars provide cooling within the assembly. The layout supports direct busbar connection to a matched in-phase inverse-parallel rectifier transformer, helping limit non-characteristic harmonics. Electrical interfaces and cooling requirements are confirmed for each project.
