CPC's high-power rectifier range includes several equipment layouts. The 2025 product brochure presents four examples: the CPC-05 vertical rectifier, CPC-00 top-middle-bottom rectifier, CPC-15 horizontal rectifier and CPC-HW outdoor rectifier.
Their structure, cooling and installation location are considered alongside the process load and site conditions.
CPC-05: vertical arrangement
The CPC-05 is presented for aluminium electrolysis. Its vertical structure and water-cooled configuration are shown as an indoor arrangement in the brochure.
CPC-00: top-middle-bottom arrangement
The CPC-00 groups its equipment in a top-middle-bottom structure. CPC lists chlor-alkali, hydrogen production and several non-ferrous metal smelting processes among its applications; the brochure shows water- and air-cooled configurations.
CPC-15: horizontal arrangement
The CPC-15 horizontal structure is shown for silicon carbide, graphite and carbon-industry applications. Its equipment layout gives a different approach to connections and maintenance space from the vertical arrangements.
CPC-HW: outdoor arrangement
The CPC-HW is presented for outdoor and experimental power-supply settings. Its arrangement brings the rectifier, control system and cooling equipment together in one enclosure, with the rectifier transformer connection considered as part of installation.
What to discuss before choosing a layout
- Process application and required DC output
- Incoming supply and rectifier-transformer arrangement
- Cooling resources and indoor or outdoor installation
- Available space, access and maintenance needs
- Control and plant-interface requirements
